Biosecurity, regional and district compliance pest plant control of weeds
The Bay of Plenty Regional pest plan identifies certain noxious weed species that legally require either control, containment or eradication. Our services include implementing noxious weed control measures on behalf of land owners and local authorities. We provide services to control species such as but not limited to: Wild Kiwi Fruit, Woolly Nightshade, Gorse, vines etc.
Manual or Chemical control
We can carry out both manual control (Cutting and Pasting and mulching) and/or chemical control using herbicides to effectively control species such as Gorse, Woolly Nightshade, Barberry and Blackberry in farm pasture areas.
Preparation of sites
We can remove weeds and spray area in preparation for planting including areas such as riparian areas, hillsides, gullys etc.
Maintenance of planted sites
All planted sites need maintenance to ensure they remain free of undesirable weed species during the critical establishment phase of the project, we offer a cost effective maintenance service to ensure the successful establishment of your valuable plantings.
Fencing off of native forest and bush areas to prevent stock damage. Stock fencing is essential in order to protect a valuable forest remnant or newly established planting.
